The boot is made using water resistant full grain leather with pig suede panels, which gives it a super rich finish and a lovely look on the leg. The boot's top-line is finished with a scalloped elastic gusset at the back and a riveted strap and buckle to close the boot to your requirements. The side lace is not only functional but good looking, adding interest and lifting the boot. To stop the lace flapping around a tie back has been added with a press stud, so it is neat as well as functional. In performance, the boot has had nothing but praise regarding its fitting. Behind the side lace there is a waterproof gusset with up to a 3 inch spread in the calf, from ankle to the boot top which allows you to wear the boot exactly as you like it. This is useful for all wearers but particularly helpful for people with high arches, who often have difficulty passing the foot into the boot. In addition, if you have sensitive ankles or calves you can adjust the boot to fit perfectly, which is a real benefit.
