This product is an effective insect repellent for amateur use against Scaly Leg Mite and is for use on Chickens, Turkeys, Game and Cage Birds by direct application to the legs. Scaly Leg Mites cause pain and intense irritation for the bird as they burrow under the scales and into the skin of the legs and sometimes into the comb and wattles. Scaly Leg Spray repels Mites whilst soothing and calming irritation and will not taint eggs. Suitable for use in organic farming systems it is recommended for use regularly for ongoing maintenance and where infestation exists.
