Brass Alloy Tom Thumb With Lozenge

This Tom Thumb with Lozenge is a severe choice for 'strong' horses who require much more control and is a preferred choice for jumping. It features a brass alloy mouthpiece which is much warmer and more palatable than Stainless Steel thereby encouraging salivation and acceptance. The cheeks apply a strong leverage action on the poll and also in the mouth thereby engaging a much more direct and strong contact. The lozenge helps to prevent the squeezing 'nut-cracker' action found in a single joint, making it lie in a much more comfortable position within the horses mouth, however, the lozenge section applies greater 'tongue' pressure in a bit of this type which encourages much stronger engagement and control.
