This full-cheek Snaffle with Lozenge bit is a comfortable, mild and preferred choice for most horses in training and particularly those who need assistance with steering. It features a brass alloy mouthpiece which is much warmer and more palatable than Stainless Steel thereby encouraging salivation and acceptance. The full cheeks assist with steering and prevent 'pinching' of the corners of the mouth (provided the right size is selected), whilst the lozenge helps to prevent the squeezing 'nut-cracker' found in a single joint, making it lie in a much more comfortable position within the horses mouth. The lozenge section applies more 'tongue' pressure which encourages more engagement and assists control.
