The hanging cheek snaffle offers mild encouragement for a softer outline. The Waterford mouthpiece in this bit is made up of individual rounded links therefore giving a 'fluid' movement in the horses, mouth thus helping to eliminate the opportunity for the horse to 'lean' on or take hold of the bit. The Waterford mouthpiece is relatively mild and comfortable for the horse provided it is used with 'soft' hands.
