This Hanging Cheek Snaffle with Lozenge is a comfortable, mild choice for horses which require a little more encouragement for flexation through a mild 'poll' pressure action. It features a brass alloy mouthpiece which is much warmer and more palatable than Stainless Steel thereby encouraging salivation and acceptance. The hanging cheeks assist with applying a mild action to the poll to encourage flexation and head-carriage, whilst the lozenge helps to prevent the squeezing 'nut-cracker' found in a single joint, making it lie in a much more comfortable position within the horses mouth. The lozenge section applies more 'tongue' pressure which encourages more engagement and assists control.
