Equikind Ripple Eggbutt Snaffle

Eggbutt Cheeks on this snaffle provide a more direct contact with the bit so it is more suited to a horse who is sharp and responds well to the riders hands. Eggbutt cheeks are smoother and more comfortable against the horse's lips thus eliminating pinching which can occur with some loose-ring snaffles. The Mullen mouthpiece on this snaffle has a very mild action as it does not have any joints and is suitable for small and sensitive mouthed horses. The 'Flexi' Material the bit is made from has a lighter and warmer feel thereby encouraging bit acceptance. It is important to note that due to the nature of the material the bit is made from, the life expectancy is shorter than that of a metal bit. Felxi bits can also be easily chewed (mainly if not fitted correctly) so they need to be checked regularly to ensure there isn't any damage which may cause discomfort to the horse.
