French Link Fulmer L/ring

The Fulmer cheeks on this snaffle are different in shape to those on a normal full cheek and are designed to be 'fixed' back to the Cheek Pieces with the use of Fulmer Loops which 'fixes' the bit into position and prevents the cheeks from going up the nostril or being caught. Fulmer cheeks apply pressure to the sides of the mouth and face to help guide the horse through steering and have a independent loose ring allowing the bit to slide which helps to prevent 'leaning' or 'fixing' on the bit. The cheeks also prevent the bit from being pulled through the mouth. The French Link mouthpiece removes the 'nutcracker' action of a single joint therefore making the bit more comfortable for the horse to wear which is perfect for horses with a large tongue or low pallet. This particular bit is useful for young horses in training.
